港占中爭民主 警民衝突

（路透香港29日電）香港警方今天凌晨朝民主抗議民眾發射催淚瓦斯，部分民眾逃離，其他人則立起路障阻止警方，現場一片混亂。

民眾稍早與穿戴頭盔、防毒面具和鎮暴裝備的警察爆發好幾場扭打，示威者被催淚瓦斯激怒。香港上一次動用催淚瓦斯是2005年。

這是香港1997年回歸中國大陸以來，最嚴重的騷亂。

警方稍早動用辣椒噴霧對付示威民眾，朝空中發射催淚瓦斯，民眾帶著雨傘四散，痛罵警察「懦夫」。

　台灣媒體報導，台灣學運領袖占領香港經貿辦事處以示支持示威，肯定挑動北京當局敏感神經。中央社（翻譯）
