金馬奬「女配角」競爭激烈，分別由郝蕾、鮑起靜、郎祖筠、陳意涵和萬茜角逐，各各都是實力派演員，最後由萬茜以《軍中樂園》飾演富含神秘感的特約茶室女子，脫穎而出，這是她首部參與的台灣電影，就獲得金馬獎評審青睞，誇她演技層次分明，引人入勝。

她穿著鳳袍上台領獎，感謝所有演員和工作人員，「沒想到，真的沒想到，來跟前輩參加金馬就很感恩，沒想到能拿到（金馬）。」在最後下台前，不忘補說：「我還想在能在這許願，有生之年還能站在這個上面拿到女主角。」
