請教各位起居室跟臥室的牆壁

大家好~
敝人的房子正在興建中，
目前遇到一個問題，想請教各位大大意見與想法，
就是我的臥室跟旁邊的起居室中間的牆，
不知道要蓋起來的好，
還是不要蓋起來的好，之後用裝潢隔開內外(臥室跟起居室)，
如下圖

打紅X的地方是那道牆，也是正在困惑我的，
我母親說，有牆你內外要在加系統櫃甚麼的，板子可以薄一點，便宜一點，
如果沒有牆，你用系統櫃隔開內外，板子會用厚的，會很貴，
還特別跟我講白一點，用牆隔開內外跟用系統櫃隔開內外，哪個划算，想當然是牆，
想請問各位，我母親說的是真的嗎?

但是我想即使是牆，牆也是要弄一些裝潢才好看

拜託專業的大大們，給點意見 plz與想法....

我個人偏好是不要蓋牆，用裝潢(系統櫃)隔開內外，
但是不知道這樣的價格，跟有牆再去裝潢的價格 有沒有差很多，
因為扯到錢，母親的意見就很多，雖然房子的錢是父母1/3跟我2/3，
但是母親一直再怕我花太多錢在房子上，雖然我很想裝潢高級一點，

再次的拜託專業大大們，能否給點意見，好讓我媽看看，專業人士的不同的觀點與想法。
