網友在網路貼文指，中午搭台鐵北上112次列車時，列車開到一半突然停電，整台列車都暗下來了，但是車子還在開，有點像雲霄飛車。其他網友則留言調侃說「車裡有在開票嗎？」、「黑車箱作業」。

台鐵表示，北上112列車是紅斑馬舊型自強號，經過電力切換的中性區間約45公尺就會發生該情況，到下一個供電區間約10多秒就會恢復，列車沒有故障，仍正常行駛並準點到達基隆站。
