《Bloomberg》報導，「債券天王」葛洛斯之前掌管的 PIMCO 總回報基金上個月遭投資人大量贖回，出走資金高達 235 億美元，創史上最大單月贖回紀錄。

最大單日贖回紀錄則出現在九月 26 日葛洛斯宣布離開 PIMCO 當天。根據晨星資料顯示，PIMCO 總回報基金過去最大單月贖回金額出現在 2013 年六月，僅有目前一半不到的 96 億美元。

截至今年八月，PIMCO 總回報基金一共管理 2216 億美元客戶資產，這個贖回數字顯示該基金今年再度流失 10.6%的資產，投資人紛紛將資金轉移到 PIMCO 競爭對手公司。

根據晨星資料顯示，PIMCO 總回報基金規模一度高達 2930 億美元，但從 2013 年五月開始，資金紛紛從 PIMCO 總回報基金出走，2013 全年出走的資金就高達 411 億美元，今年前八個月又再流出 248 億美元。

投資人之所以自 2013 年五月起從總回報基金撤資，是因為當時投資人預期美國利率將會上升，且當時總回報基金的績效落後65%的對手；過去五年整體表現則擊敗62%的對手。
