國際特赦組織報告 台灣死刑過程不透明

法務部29日晚間槍決5名死囚，再度引發台灣內部廢死爭議。國際特赦組織報告3月公布的「2014全球死刑判決與執行報告」報告曾指出，台灣死刑過程不透明。

根據中央社報導，國家特赦組織專家桑喬治（Chiara Sangiorgio）表示，台灣曾承諾將朝廢除死刑的方向努力，但2013年處決6人，並判決7個新的死刑。

桑喬治質疑台灣執行死刑過程不透明，死刑犯的家屬往往只能在死刑執行後才被政府通知前往停屍間領屍；他呼籲台灣政府應於執行死刑前告知家屬、律師及社會大眾。

歐盟與總部位在倫敦的國際特赦組織多次呼籲台灣，停止執行死刑。
