北印度族群衝突 增至32死

印度警方表示，1日晚上發生在東北部阿薩姆省的族群暴力衝突，今天(3日)陸續發現9具屍體之後，死亡人數累計已經增加到32人。
警方表示，目前不清楚這9人是何時遭到殺害的。
警方表示，阿薩姆省分離主義組織「波多民族民主陣線」(National Democratic Front of Bodoland)的武裝份子，1日晚上衝進阿薩姆西部的2座村莊，開槍濫射、對民房縱火，至今造成32人死亡。這也是當地過去兩年來最嚴重的暴力事件。
在當局調派軍隊介入之後，警方已經逮捕了22名嫌犯。
阿薩姆省3,300萬人口中，原住民的波多人佔10%，他們長期以來都在爭取自己的獨立地位。而波多族人長期以來一再指控，穆斯林不斷從鄰邦孟加拉非法偷渡進入當地。
在2012年，這個地區也爆發過波多族人和穆斯林居民，長達一個星期的暴力衝突，造成100人死亡。
印度東北部是動盪不安地區，叛軍為了抗議政府霸佔當地豐富的礦產資源等，經常作亂。根據報導，過去30年來，單是阿薩姆省，就有最少1萬人在暴力衝突中被殺，其中多數是平民。
