南投鹿谷鄉今天晚上有一場為保護螢火蟲生態發起的夜跑活動，進入棲地時，近千民眾以慢行方式體驗與螢火蟲近距離接觸。

鹿谷鄉螢火蟲生態豐富，為讓民眾透過活動珍惜螢火蟲棲地環境，當地竹鹿產業觀光促進會特別舉辦「第一屆愛熱血、螢火蟲夜跑」活動。

近千名參加民眾，傍晚起陸續到鹿谷永隆社區集結，民眾頭戴螢火蟲汽球頭套，一起做暖身操，彷彿等待夜幕來臨，準備起飛的螢火蟲；考慮不影響螢火蟲生態，所有民眾配戴的LED發光手環，都採用螢火蟲可接受的紅色光。

主辦單位還邀來極地教師李清言率領三太子神偶領跑，跑者從永隆活動中心前廣場出發，繞行麒麟潭後進入鳳凰谷鳥園，隨後所有人關掉手上的LED手環、低聲說話，以慢行方式通過棲地，感受與螢火蟲面對面接觸的經驗。

這段夜跑路線，往返全長約8公里，不少參加民眾都覺得別有一番滋味，且是為保護螢火蟲生態而跑，十分有意義。

到場參加活動的代理縣長陳志清說，他小時候住水里鄉，經常可以看到螢火蟲在庭院出沒，鹿谷地區螢火蟲生態豐富，擁有很棒的棲地，歡迎大家多來茶鄉賞螢。(中央社)
