2014年國際室內拔河邀請賽暨103年協會盃室內拔河錦標賽，於8、9日在台北體育館登場，這難得一見的國際賽會將在台灣掀起拔河熱潮。

8日率先登場的是國際邀請賽公開組，國際邀請賽錦標組9日開戰，一年一度國內年終拔河盛事協會盃也同時舉行。

公開組參賽隊伍包括今年愛爾蘭世錦賽摘金的中華男、女子代表隊，男隊（南投高中、台灣體大、明道大學聯隊）化身「大笨牛」出賽；女隊（景美女中、台灣師大聯隊）一口氣派出5隊，其中以「台師大景美女中校友隊」最被看好。(中央社)
