佛州監獄瓦斯氣爆 2囚死逾百傷

美國佛羅里達州北部艾斯康比亞郡(Escambia)的地方監獄在當地時間4月30日晚間發生瓦斯氣爆事件，造成2名囚犯死亡，以及100到150名囚犯和警衛受傷。
這座監獄的發言人凱絲特蘿(Kathleen Castro)說，這起瓦斯氣爆發生在當地時間4月30日晚間約11時左右，氣爆地點在監獄中心的報到處。這座監獄有4層樓，裡面關有約600名囚犯。
凱絲特蘿說，這起氣爆並未導致任何囚犯脫逃，她告訴路透社記者：「監獄大樓仍完整，只是有部分受損。」
凱絲特蘿表示，造成大樓受損的原因，很明顯是瓦斯氣爆造成。她說，在瓦斯氣爆發生之前，有人聞到陣陣瓦斯臭味。
