經濟部長杜紫軍今赴立院備詢時表示，強冠與正義食安事件，衝擊今年台灣食品業營業額損失約124億元，外銷損失約22億，占出口總值2.6%，另預估衝擊延伸至明年，國內市場損失約在30億元內；杜紫軍也否認，食安問題衝擊我國對外自由經濟協定(FTA)的簽訂，「目前沒有得到這樣的訊息。」

杜紫軍表示，中國大陸與日本對我國涉可能污染的食品，目前以公司為單位禁止報驗並要求下架，已要求駐外單位協調，提供明確的不合格產品清單，盼中、日以「產品別」的方式處理。杜紫軍也說，日本已原則上同意廠商出具官方證明文件就放行通關。
